Mexico’s National Aquaculture and Fishing Commission (CONAPESCA) welcomes you to practice and enjoy sportfishing in our inland and ocean waters.

To obtain your Mexican fishing license, go to the “License Request Form” link on the menu above, fill in the necessary information, print it and mail it to our address along with a posted envelope filled with you address information to be processed and mailed back to you, or bring it out to our office to obtain your license right away. We can accept cash, money orders and cashier checks only.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

This CONAPESCA office is authorized to issue Mexican sportfishing licenses only.

Besides Sportfishing licences, Mexican immigration law requires that ALL persons entering Mexico by sea or land for Sportfishing and/or nautical tourism purposes must register at the first port of entry and obtain their individual Immigration Visa (FMM). This procedure can ONLY be done at INAMI offices or directly via internet at the Immigration Ministry´s website, following the link for sportfishing and nautical tourism.
